In today’s world, it’s hard to know what’s true and what’s not. Just when I think I’ve read an article with some validity behind it, someone inevitably testifies otherwise. It’s confusing and frustrating. But here’s the thing. Though I may not know which article is telling me the truth, I know God is telling me the truth.

“This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true.” –Psalm 18:30

I’m not claiming to know everything. How can I, when I don’t even know what’s for dinner? But I do know Jesus and His Word is true. So that’s where I stand. Day in and day out no matter what happens, I’m standing with the Word of God, and you’re welcome to stand with me. Or sit or curl up on the couch or hide in the closet, depending on how crazy the kids are driving you today. (Just don’t forget to take a snack. Preferably something in the chocolate category.)

Our souls weren’t made to live apart from God. Our souls were made for communion with God. We will desire everything and be satisfied by nothing until we quench our souls with the truth of God’s Word.

Welcome friends!
